______________ for Bryan

When the masseuse instructed me
To undress to my level of comfort,
I thought about removing them all,
And then my skin and bones, too,
Leaving them in a pile on the floor.
Next I’d take my mind to the library,
And then my heart for a long drive,
As far as it took for us to quiet down.
