British Museum

Weight implies flight,
reverberant sounds,
St. Paul's cathedral pipe organ,
blocking out light was once
the great Moai, shinning
before me. Sound becomes
bird becomes fossil. Stone
is of earth & not
of earth, boundless,
mountain, river, the sense
of it is supposed to
reflect permanence.
