Unexpected Proposition

I could have felt
_______warm flesh
against
__my breast
_______in the bed
of a coffee-downed dawn;

could have smoothed
_______curved back
and grasped
__round buttocks
_______as hair
red-curtained my head,

as heather-laced kisses
consumed my mouth;

I could have felt
_______full breasts
against
__my chest
_______and the converse
of hearts
__would have moralized
______________pain;

could have consummated
_______flesh
__(such biblical sin);
could have eased
_______a licentious
__disease.

I could have done
_______all these things,
and more (she implored),
__and her husband
____would never
_______have known.
