Hikalu Dying
by Mary McGinnis

hands chattering,
intense shaking, ghostly
kin failing to appear
alone with Parkinson's,
limbo stretching on and on
unimpeded

dying in a home for six
your voice brown and blurry,
I left you there
not meaning to - I
got a card from your wife in the mail
