Like a Bazooka
by Ray Spitzenberger

life gives
instead of prizes
surprises
like a bazooka
blowing you apart
maybe that's why
internet was conceived
searching for rilke, reike, nikes
and maybe even like keys
you can live in facebook
but when you emerge
the bazookas are still there
old and thuddy
they used to kill tanks
now covered with cobwebs
in museums
seek faith
it knows how to stop
bazookas
