The Door To Time
by JoyAnne O'Donnell

The day shuts
and opens
like a color
never seen before
the color of timelines passageway
leading to humanities
and artists paintbrush
with diamond pastels
and freedom's hand
expression for light
to fall in through
the great escape
of thither and glow
poems with a gold trumpets sound
for a special anniversary.
