Full of yourself
by Timothy PIlgrim

Mirrors aligned, dining room wall,
one smile reflected, just you,

again and again. In soup, too,
difficult to see, face, smooth,

teeth, bright, chin, firm, neck,
trim — no lover around,

no false friends. No inane chat
tossed needlessly in. Toast

yourself, a compliment or two,
dining alone, enjoying the view.
